Elle Hanley
Images are the core of Elle’s practice—constructed, manipulated, and reimagined through photography, video, and AI-based creation. An American visual artist with fourteen years of experience, Elle works fluidly between fine art and fashion, using both analog and digital tools to investigate how meaning is shaped through visual form. Her work reflects a sustained engagement with evolving technologies while remaining grounded in intentional image-making.
Conceptual fine art forms the foundation of Elle’s practice. Her images often explore themes of identity, perception, artificiality, and transformation, using stylization and narrative to question realism and authorship. AI functions not as spectacle but as an integrated tool within her process, allowing her to interrogate creative agency and the role of the artist in an increasingly synthetic visual landscape.
In parallel, Elle produces evocative fashion imagery that is polished, cinematic, and editorial in tone. Drawing from avant-garde and filmic references, her fashion work balances elegance with experimentation, emphasizing strong composition and atmosphere. Across disciplines, Elle’s work is defined by a commitment to images that feel deliberate, provocative, and visually distinct.
